What date should I enter for the date joined for transfer members?

It is always best for you to enter the date the member joined your facility. You should do this so your records indicate when the member actually started attending your facility. This should be done in case anything was ever to happen and you should need to prove when the member started working out at your facility.

When you enter the correct date joined for your facility you can simply adjust the contract end date accordingly. For example, if a member joined the other facility in January and transfer to your facility in June, simply enter the date joined as June and adjust the contract end date to the following January.
